From the flat lake loop up into the Nock Mountains - with access to one of Carinthia's strongest trail networks.
For couples who want to get out during the day and unwind in the evening - without the family bustle.
Mountains & lake close togetherLake Brennsee lies right in front of the house, and behind the village rise the Nock Mountains. Mountains and water sit so close together that much of it starts right in the village - often without a car.
Nobody has to agree on one shared level - the range here covers both of you.

From the flat lake loop up into the Nock Mountains - with access to one of Carinthia's strongest trail networks.

Level paths along the lake or up onto the gentle alpine ridges - and the cable car saves you the climb.

Free stand-up paddleboarding from the jetty, plus the sports school at the lake for surfing and kayaking.
SUP includedFrom our private lake access you step straight into the water. Stand-up paddleboarding is part of the house - the boards are free for our guests.
If you want more, the Krainer sports school on Lake Brennsee offers surfing and kayaking. The lake is the calm counterpart to the mountains - and the two are only a few steps apart.
Skiing with the ski bus - for those who savour it, not for piste devourers.
The ski bus takes you to Bad Kleinkirchheim without driving yourself. Our altitude means no snow guarantee - but there is winter hiking, tobogganing and the lake. We say that openly.

In the evening, hotel guests enjoy a half-board buffet from our own kitchen - and those who prefer to choose eat à la carte. So you are not tied to a rigid schedule, even if the tour runs a little longer.
On warm evenings, the lakeside terrace is the loveliest spot for it - with a view of the water and a good glass of wine. Plus coffee, cake and ice cream from our coffee house for in between.
More about diningThe same region as next door - just at a different pace.
Feld am See markets itself as a family sports village. For families, that's wonderful. But if you deliberately travel without children, you notice the difference on the very first evening - in the noise level, in the atmosphere, in the fact that nobody expects you to join in. This calm is not a sacrifice - it is the real luxury.

After breakfast, your paths part: he takes the bike into the Nock Mountains, she paddles a lap on the lake and swims from the jetty. Or the other way round - that's the point. Nobody plans the other one's day.
In the evening you meet again on the terrace, eat à la carte whenever the appetite arrives, and let the day wind down. Being active and finding peace are no contradiction here.
